Δ  The KARFAR Model GL30XA Slow open Slow shut check valve is multifunctional valve. It opens slowly and shut slowly to eliminate water hammer and prevent back flow. Single set of GL30XA can function to replace non-return valve, electric control valve and pressure surge eliminator. It is often mounted at the outlet side of the pump. In response to pilot signal, it slowly opens when the pump starts up. During the operation, the valve is fully opened under medium pressure, Since the chamber is connected with air, water loss is nearly none. When pump stops working, the valve slowly shuts to avoid pressure surge and slamming noise.

Δ low water loss, nearly zero. Controlling pressure less than 0.05Mpa and partial resistance coefficient is less than 1.0

Δ When pump stops working, the valves close in two steps. First main disc quickly close 90% and the small disc slowly close 100%(closing speed can be adjusted according to requirement at site), By this way, there is no pressure surge and slamming noise.

Δ It isolates the pump from the system during pump starting: When pump starts up, the valve is closed. When the pressure rises to the preset value, the valve slowly opens so as to avoid damage on the pump engine  from extra large currency .
